The Vestil HSRB-YL-1 Drum Spill Containment Basin is designed for 55-gallon steel drums only. It may not support the flexibility of plastic drums, which can deform under pressure. The grates or support surfaces may not distribute weight evenly, leading to instability or potential damage.Plastic drums are lighter than steel drums and may shift or tip more easily if the basin isn't designed to accommodate their lower weight.
